Mr Eric Bekoe Offei is an Assistant Lecturer in Veterinary Histology and Embryology at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ghana. He obtained a M.Phil degree in Human Anatomy and Cell Biology at the School of Medical Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana in 2014. He also holds a B.Sc degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and a Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ qualification from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.  Before joining the University of Ghana in 2013, Mr Eric Bekoe Offei was a teacher at Ghana Senior High School Koforidua, where he taught Biology for eight years.

He has been awarded a Ghanaian-German (MOE-DAAD) scholarship to pursue PhD in Molecular Embryology at Ruhr University, Bocchum, Germany.

His current research focuses on the involvement of autophagy and autolysis in embryonic/fetal development and pathogenesis of organs in mammals.
