Dr. Sherry A.M Johnson

Profile

Dr. Sherry A.M. Johnson is a Veterinarian and a Lecturer in the School of Veterinary Medicine, College of Basic and Applied Sciences, University of Ghana. She obtained her MPhil in Applied Epidemiology and Disease Control from the University of Ghana, and PhD in Small Animal Medicine, University of Nairobi. She is also an alumnus of the Ghana Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program (GFELTP).

Eistine Boateng

Assistant Lecturer in Veterinary Gross Anatomy, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ghana. He obtained a Master of Philosophy degree in Anatomy, University of Ghana Medical School, in 2011. He is currently doing his PhD in Molecular Cell biology of the lung, University of Giessen, Germany, where he is investigating the role of Peroxisomes in Pulmonary fibrosis.

Research areas covered were in the field of Anthropometry and endocrinology.

Ann Nancy Mills-Thompson (Mrs)

Profile

Ann Nancy Mills-Thompson (Mrs) is a Lecturer at the School of Veterinary Medicine, College of Basic and Applied Sciences, University of Ghana-Legon where she teaches Histology and Embryology. She holds a PhD in Veterinary Anatomy from the University of Nairobi-Kenya. She also obtained her MPhil degree in Human Anatomy at the University of Ghana Medical School in 2009. She has been teaching over the past 7 years since the inception of the school.

Dr. Kofi Afakye

He worked with Ministry of Food and Agriculture as Veterinary Officer and District Director of Agriculture. Joined the academia in 2012 as assistant lecturer at School of Veterinary Medicine, College of Basic and Applied Sciences. He obtained an MPhil in Applied Epidemiology and Disease Control from School of Public Health of the University of Ghana in 2011. He has experience in human and animal disease outbreak investigation. Area of research interest is epidemiology of trypanosomosis and rabies.
